Who we are

Data we use

JSB uses information needed to provide team, squad, matchday, statistics, import/export and subscription features. This may include account information, email address, username, user IDs, team membership, squad/player details, team/player statistics, match records, optional team logos, optional player photos, uploaded/shared team files, subscription status and payment-provider reference IDs.

Youth player and team data

Team and youth player data should only be entered by authorised coaches, parents, guardians, clubs or team administrators where they have the appropriate permission to do so. Authorised users are responsible for keeping team data accurate, confidential and limited to what is necessary for legitimate team administration, coaching, safeguarding and match-management purposes.

Player photos and temporary transfers

Player photos are optional. JSB is designed so player photos stay on each authorised user’s own device by default rather than being permanently stored on JSB servers.

Where a team admin sends a player-photo update to authorised users of the same team, JSB creates an encrypted temporary transfer package. The encrypted photo content and transfer key are held on the server for up to 12 hours so authorised same-team users can download the update. After that 12-hour window, JSB deletes the encrypted photo content and transfer key from the server.

Limited non-photo transfer metadata may be retained briefly after deletion to show missed-transfer notices, prevent repeated unnecessary transfers, and support security/audit controls. Player photos must not be uploaded, sent or shared unless the team has the necessary parent/guardian, club or safeguarding authorisation.

Payments and subscriptions

JSB does not collect or store payment card numbers, CVV codes or full bank card details. Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Android Play Store subscriptions use Google Play Billing. Future Apple App Store subscriptions will use Apple In-App Purchase / StoreKit. JSB stores only the subscription status and provider reference information needed to manage access to paid features.

Sharing and access

Private team data is restricted to authorised users of the same team, club or agreed organisation. JSB does not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers that help us operate hosting, email, payment, security and support functions, subject to appropriate controls. Users must not export, screenshot or share personal data outside authorised team purposes unless they have permission.

Security and retention

JSB uses HTTPS for data in transit and applies access controls to restrict users to authorised team data. Account, team, match and subscription records are retained while needed to provide the app, meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent misuse and support legitimate business administration. Temporary encrypted player-photo transfer content is deleted after 12 hours as described above.

Your rights and deletion requests

Users can request access, correction or deletion of their personal data by contacting Support@jsbsports.co.uk. Where a dedicated account-deletion page is available, users should also use that page to request account and data deletion. Some records may be retained where required for legal, accounting, security or legitimate business reasons.
